So, I live in a Quad in Charles Commons and I love it. I live with my best friends, it makes for fun but not always the most productive environment... We hang out together in our common room and "study", which generally means we sit around and talk. Living with my best friends is great, even if we don't always get work done in our room. It's really nice to be able to walk next door and say hi. They are also both crazy busy, all of us are, so living together makes it so that we actually see each other; although sometimes we still go days without seeing each other.
This is our common room. It's awesome and cozy. I study on our amazing futon a lot. The blanket is on the couch cause yellow is prettier than the ugly color they gave us.
This is our communal mirror/message board. The current message on it is about how we all need to do our dishes ... sometimes we forget about those.
This is our fabulous kitchen. Having a kitchen is one of the greatest things about living in Charles Commons. I make tea and coffee constantly. But we also make big dinners every once in a while for the three of us, make fondue, soup or pasta. Having a fridge is great. I personally wish we had an oven because I love to cook, but it's not that big of a deal... On Sunday we are throwing my best friend a Birthday Brunch, so we are cooking bacon, french toast, eggs, pancakes, muffins, etc...
Here is our table... with fresh flowers -- except they are getting slightly old, alas.
As you can see, our bathrooms are HUGE:
My room is really really really messy because I don't understand the concept of cleaning. I also don't have time to clean. Or organize. So, bear with me.

Yeah, I love my room. It's a little small. That's okay. It's really nice because I have a single. While I love living with my friends, it's also really nice to have my own space. Somewhere to go where it's quiet and you don't always have another person around... For me I can be as messy as I want and no one cares... I mean except when they come in. It makes it much easier to catch up on sleep and to get some work done.
you have TILE WALLS in your shower?!?!? why don't I have pretty tile walls?!?! this makes me sad
