Let me start this story by saying that a week ago, I was talking to Rachel and explaining to her that, because I'm so tall, sometimes I just fall over. Not like on my face, or at least not usually, just sort of a tipping over off balance.
Well, it doesn't help that it was 8:30 and I was on my way to chemistry, and there are an awful lot of stairs between my first floor dorm and the second floor exit from my building. So as I was going up the stairs, out of nowhere, a wall just slams me in the face. I say that because I left no impact on the wall, so clearly I was not the one to blame. I don't really know what happened,
I sort of just...fell sideways....then FACEPLANT! On a wall. My eyelid swelled up so my eye was half closed, and every one of my friends had a double-take when they saw me before I even said anything. Ouch, my pride.
Good story, right? The alternate version is that I got hit in the face while playing sports or something else cool like that. (And on that sad note, Building A lost flag football playoffs after a remarkable regular season. Serious tragedy).
Anyway, this is all the more reason for me to try to completely cover up the wall in my room. It is just taunting me at this point.
Hmm I need to shave.
I'm not gonna lie **points to chin** that story is still fabulous, even after multiple repititions!

I'm kind of sad that I was not mentioned in the conversation about falling over, but that's not the point. I also think this story is wonderful and I'm very happy that you posted it.
