Ah yes, only nine more days until I go home for Thanksgiving (woohoo!) I'm really excited to see my family, and have plans to see some of my friends from back home on the Friday after as well. But there is a lot more about going home that's exciting. Namely the food. I am so excited for Thanksgiving dinner, I'm on the 19 meals a week plan here, and as much as I like the food (and as much as they try to change it), I find myself with the same food over and over again. That's partly my fault for not branching out though.
Really though, the food is going to be really great, I'm going to have to find some way to bring back crates full and hide them in the fridge here. And maybe share. Just maybe.
Theres a lot more to look forward to with Thanksgiving coming up though, like all the stuff that I can bring back with me. For one, I am running low on winter clothes. The seasonal changes completely caught me off guard, and I am stuck wearing the same three hoodies or jacket over t-shirts every day, and have difficulty getting dressed properly for the weather.
Another important thing that I plan to bring back is DDR home edition. I'm so pumped about it, it's going to be great. I have been dreaming in arrows lately. A little weird, right? No but really, DDR is one of the better things that has been invented in the past fifty years, and who can deny the convenience of the home edition? Not just that, but imagine the possibilities when living so close to your friends in dorm life. I figured I'd post an old picture of me playing DDR with a dreamy light filter. Unfortunately this hasn't happened at Hopkins yet. But it will! Soon...
Oh and if you don't like DDR, you are really missing out.
In other news, I took the shuttle down to the mall for the first time yesterday with my friend Julia. I finally got my first haircut since I got here, and it was a success! No bald spots, no crooked hairline, no random patches of fuzz, I'm impressed. And for $13 too, not bad. The mall is not bad either, I only saw about half of it but there's a good amount going on. I think I would've enjoyed it a lot more if I were spending someone else's money though, so no purchases made.
If only the stores accepted J-Cash.
