That's right, I'm in Building A. So, it's finally time for you to take more of a look into my life. I considered cleaning for about three seconds, but that would be completely unfair and unrealistic. And if you'll notice, I scattered the pictures throughout the blog so that they sort of mirror the state of my room (and my mind).
Let's begin :D
Well, the most important part of the room is probably my bed, because sleeping is most likely my favorite thing to do. So that's where I'll start. I sleep on the top bunk, and the bed under me is empty. So it's basically used for laundry storage, my roommate's guitar, sitting, etc. Pretty useful stuff. And my bed is so comfortable, I bought two matress pads from HomeGoods when I was getting ready to move in over the summer. One of the better decisions I've ever made. And the bed itself isn't bad anyway, I just like to be completely at rest all the time.

After sleeping, my next most time - consuming activities involve my desk. I have no idea how I find anything, ever, but I somehow manage. Fairly well too. So my wall is usually (fairly) bare above my desk, but if you
read my most recent blog, I mentioned
that I was making prints of my art, and they are here! So, I decided to hang some up for myself, and so now I just have a random, disorderly, scattered assortment of my art, a papyrus that my dad brought back from his trip back home to Egypt, a newspaper article featuring one of my friends, a
hopkins calendar, and a few sketches my nephew made for me. On my desk itself, I have my juice (don't worry, it's usually refrigerated), photos, books, an advent calendar that I never finished, my laptop of course, calculator...ok well you can see for yourself. Basically a lot of stuff, most of which I rarely use. I just like being in a cluttered environment.

So: bed, desk, what could be next? Well, I can't live without DDR of course. Since I have crappy dance pads (or, to be more accurate, pad because the down arrow on one of them doesn't work), I duct taped them to the floor. And then I partially cover them with a rug during non-ddr hours. Besides DDR, I also have a mini collection of movies (most of which I haven't actually seen? don't ask why I have them. I've collected them mostly by accident). Anyway, I also have a TV which isn't hooked up to cable, so it's used for DDR-only purposes (I can use the excuse that it's my workout regimen, right?) Ok fine, I'm semi-obsessed. Trying to work on so deep on heavy right now (If you know what I'm talking about, you probably can relate to my pain. Or maybe you are just better than I am.)
I figured it'd be in order to show you my storage space in addition to my fun stuff. So, this is how I store my clothes. I have my closet, where I throw clothes in a basket (those are my clean clothes, don't worry), then I have a hidden corner between my desk and my drawers that holds my laundry. (You can actually see, folded up, my broken DDR pad down there too). I use my closet doors as a towel rack. And on top of my closet I have a fan, but I never use it because building A is temperature controlled. So that's pretty awesome.
you boys and your dirty closets! i think every guy on my floor in building A last year had a closet that was that messy. nice realistic touch haha
