Thanksgiving Break
Hopkins is beckoning me a little early. Although my flight does not arrive at BWI (Baltimore-Washington International Airport) until 11:30PM Monday, I have to give in and complete some assignments tomorrow and begin studying for a major exam for the class Kate recently & excitedly chattered about. I thought I would dig into my studies a lot more at home -- I don't know what possessed
me to conjure up that thought -- but I have had NO TIME. I suppose that's what home is about: eating wonderful, warm food and indulging in innately good company. But home has been different this time around. We're in a new house, so when I arrived on Wednesday night, I was welcomed into a new room. The new neighborhood is quaint, and I
love the fall foilage.
So as I've been sharing with old friends what I'm involved in this year, I was reminded that I have yet to share some Hopkins Crew videos with you. The first video is the Varsity Eight winning their event last season at the Caspersen Cup. The second video is what is a tradition: if you win your event, you toss the coxswain into the water (this was the coxswain of the win in the previous video).
The following video is informative of Delta Xi Phi, the Multicultural Sorority. It features pictures from chapters nationwide. Rather than gushing about how much I heart the sisters, I'll let the music take you into the glamorous life. Note: you'll see the sisters pairing up to make the Greek symbols with their hands. Very different girls coming together to buttress similar beliefs.
According to my calendar, we only have a little over two weeks of classes left. Then we wind into reading period to prepare for our lovely finals. Although I realize a very hectic month awaits me, I am quite excited to hop to it.
You are bombarding me with technology! It's crazy!

...although I've been worriedly chattering about studying for that same exam, haha.
